VToday the Google Pixel Event was held with many new announcements regarding software and hardware.

Some revelations include the Chromecast Ultra (with which YouTube and Netflix can be streamed in 4k), two Google smartphones (Google Pixel and the Pixel XL), Google Home (an alternative to Sonos, among others), Android 7.1 Nougat and Google Daydream, a VR glasses from Google. A very nice day for the real Google fans!
It is clear that in one day Google takes an extra strong position in various areas such as VR, streaming and smartphones.

The Pixel smartphones, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 12.3 megapixel camera, will be a direct competitor for Samsung and iPhone.
This also applies to the prices from just under €759 for a 32GB Pixel to over €1009 for a Pixel XL with 128GB. The devices are equipped with Android 7.1 Nougat, have a Full HD for the Pixel and a 2560x1440 pixel screen for the XL respectively. The battery has a capacity of 2770mAh and 3450mAh, but charges enough in 15 minutes to use it for 7(!) hours!
In Germany, among other places, the smartphones can already be ordered in pre-order. These will be delivered on October 13.
Unfortunately, the date for the Netherlands is not yet known.
