avg wordpress compliant

You have probably already heard that the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect on May 25, 2018.
This law replaces the Dutch Wbp law (Personal Data Protection Act) and goes further than the Wbp in a number of areas.
An important change is that from this date the Dutch Data Protection Authority is authorized to issue fines. This can amount to 4% of the annual turnover with a maximum of 20 million euros. Something to seriously take into account!

Your website & GDPR
Milcraft can of course make your WordPress website (WooCommerce of course also) GDPR compliant for you. Making it GDPR compliant means, among other things, placing a cookie notification (which prevents cookies until the user agrees), an agreement field in the existing contact forms and placing a provided privacy statement.
This privacy statement differs per company/sector and can be created, for example, on the Juridox website.

DThe Dutch Data Protection Authority has made a lot of information available online to help entrepreneurs make preparations with regard to GDPR, including a 10-step plan. You will find more information and this step-by-step plan here.
