For Energetic Alphen aan den Rijn Milcraft rebuilt the existing website into a new more user-friendly layout. In addition, the existing website was equipped with SSL and an improved mobile menu.
Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn (EA) is a local energy cooperative that aims to contribute to making the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn more sustainable. EA implements the so-called Rijnvicus and GC Zeegersloot post-coal box projects and initiates other energy-saving projects for companies, residents and other parties in the municipality. EA organises neighbourhood-oriented energy-saving actions, provides information on sustainable energy and participates in various consultation groups focusing on sustainability and energy transition.
After several months, Milcraft duplicated the existing WordPress website for Energiek Alphen aan den Rijn and updated it to www.zonopalphen.nl created a new website with its own logo and corporate identity.
On 6 July 2018, the Coöperatie Zon op Alphen aan den Rijn u.a. established. The establishment of this cooperative stems from the plans of Energetic Alphen aan den Rijn to create two collective solar parks in the municipality. These will be located on the roofs of the driving range of Zeegersloot Golf Club (about 160 panels) and on the roof of Rijnvicus' building (about 1,600 panels). The formation of the cooperative is a condition for participants to get a refund of the energy tax on their own consumption.
