chrome 56 message when not SSL: not secure
Published On: 31 January 2017

Since today, the new version of Chrome is available, Chrome 56.
For websites without an SSL certificate, this update causes pages where passwords or credit card details are entered to have a "Not secure" message in front of your domain name's address bar.

That Google Chrome would start treating websites without SSL differently was already longer clear. So this is another step further in this transition.

Of course, the vast majority of our customers have an SSL certificate.
